“ A lovely country pub with a warm welcome and friendly staff. Plenty of off-road parking at the back of the pub. The fish and chips were beautiful. Light crispy batter and good quality fish. The chips, simply divine. Crispy and so tasty. Night and day difference to a chip shop. This place is worth a visit ”

“ Went on the off chance that there was a table free for Sunday lunch, we were shown to a table in the snug with a really nice log fire burning away. Drinks ordered and after going through the starter menu we decided to have white pudding and bacon with a poached egg and goats cheese with salad. Mains were both roast beef with all the trimmings. Our food was delicious and we enjoyed every bite. Would I recommend this place, YES. ”

Fire was on and it was love, warm and welcoming. Food and drinks came to 25 and I picked the more expensive dish on the menu so could easily be under 20 for food and drinks if you’re on a budget to eat out. ”
